Justin D. Chacchia is a passionate and experienced media creative hailing from Rochester, NY. He has worked across the media industry in multiple capacities, in addition to completing a bachelor’s degree at SUNY New Paltz for Digital Media Production with a minor in Communications.

His work experience includes multiple roles in film production, including set-work as a Director of Photography, as well as a full-time position as Head of Equipment for New York City Camera, Inc. in Brooklyn, NY from 2022 - 2026.

Justin thrives in a team-based environment, most notably with leadership, problem-solving, communication, and integrity. He finds it essential to be candid and pragmatic when approaching tasks; further skills acquired and honed both on set and off.

Being a relentlessly curious and mindful person, Justin believes that film is a unique art medium in its ability to reach many and speak loudly. In this 21st century of overflowing media production and consumption, the best art is that which not only poses important questions, but also provides meaningful ideas in response.
