To keep myself in shape while away from creating short and long form narrative stories, I currently author a publication on Substack titled The Layman’s Report. There, I sift through various cultural happenings largely in the United States from the perspective of…a layman, really. Today’s media landscapes seem to take certain information and processes for granted, along with being highly partisan in framing. My goal with The Layman’s Report is to reflect on philosophy, media, and politics by use of facts, critical analysis, and the good old-fashioned gut feeling.
